Glued laminated timber in larch
Due to increased demand, we have expanded our product range and now offer glued laminated timber not only in spruce but also in larch. Made from high-quality raw materials, carefully crafted, and guaranteed to be formaldehyde-free.
Glued log-house planks in a wide variety of profiles, types of wood and combinations
We manufacture our log-house planks from Austrian heartwood-free wood that has been dried to a standardised wood moisture for indoor use. One optical highlight of our log-house planks is that you only see a single straight line on the outside as a longitudinal joint. This exclusive look is achieved by using edge jointing. A special tool produces a tongueand-groove profile with an accuracy of 1/100 mm. The big advantage is that planks from different production batches can be combined with each other with no problems.
True-to-profile consistency is one of our key quality characteristics. So it’s very important to understand just what this means – and actually, it’s quite easy to explain: imagine you create a profile with a knife. After a while the knife becomes blunt. So you sharpen it. But sharpening the knife alters its geometry. And thus the profile too. Changing the knife prevents this. Which is precisely what we do here at Weinberger. Along with the proper storage at a constant wood moisture, this allows us to guarantee absolute true-to-profile consistency.

Which is also why the properties of our glued laminated timber almost equal the properties of bilam and trilam qualities.
