The new patching station that was taken into operation at the works for glue-laminated timber in Abtenau in September will help increase the efficiency of quality controls.
From now on, the work pieces will be inspected along their length as they are conveyed past the workers and stopped should they require patching. This means that there will be more time for even more thorough quality checks and patching work.
