A new packaging machine has been taken into operation at the works for glue-laminated timber in Abtenau to ensure that cut-length products get to customers in an even better condition.
Weinberger’s customers will benefit in many ways from the investment in the highly innovative machine. The fact that cut-length products can now be wrapped from all sides, including from underneath, means that they can be reliably protected from dirt, sun, wind and (driving) rain. The packaging will also prevent impressions from being made by fork-lift trucks, planking and so on.
