Two steps to a greater product diversity
Christmas is just around the corner – and with it our modernisation break.
This year, we will once again be investing in our Reichenfels site, where the modernisation work will be carried out in two steps.
Step 1 – Glulam beams from larch, pine, Douglas fir
The first step will see the expansion of our quality grading system for raw lamellae.
Your benefits:
From mid-January 2026, we will be offering a much wider range of our own glulam grades made from larch, pine, Douglas fir and, of course, spruce:
- Widths: 100 to 280 mm
- Heights: 120 to 300 mm (in the second step up to 1,000 mm)
Even though our Reichenfels plant is responsible for DUO production, numerous dimensions will be available from Abtenau during the conversion and start-up phase.
Step 2 – Broader portfolio of glulam beams from May 2026
Your benefits:
From May 2026 onwards, we will be supplying:
- Glulam beams: up to 1,000 mm in height (in Abtenau up to 1,400 mm)
- Split glulam beams: up to 880 mm in height
- Split glulam beams: A greater range of widths (on request) from 40 to 100 mm – beyond the standard 60 mm
With this modernisation, we are investing in greater flexibility, greater diversity – and in a sustainable future for our products.
