Production downtime due to renovations
As your “Best of Holz” partner, we regularly invest in the quality of our products and in our production capacities. It’s now time to get to work on our Reichenfels site again. In order to realise some further innovations, we will be installing a more efficient finger jointing press incl. glue application system and building a 5-storey warehouse. Our goals:
- Even more flexible commissioning of all of our products so that we can produce even more different lengths to customer requirements.
- New combinations and design options in log-house construction with a greater variety of dimensions.
We will be shutting down production in the first half of January for the necessary renovations. Our works will return to normal operation at the beginning of February. Which is why we have a tip for you:
Plan your needs for January in good time!
We kindly request that you place your orders in due time so that we can deliver on time in January 2022. We will produce your orders in advance and then deliver them on the requested date. We would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation and are looking forward to being an even stronger partner in terms of delivery capability, flexibility and reliability in the future.
UPDATE: On account of some huge delays in deliveries from Siemens and SEW-Eurodrive, we have been forced to postpone some of the renovations from January 2022 to January 2023. We are having to put off the installation of the new finger jointing press, glue application unit and the construction of a 5-storey warehouse for one year because certain electronic components are missing. Unfortunately, what this means for our log-house plank customers is that that we will “only” be able to offer two ranges for a further year.
However, we will be going ahead with the introduction of the new IT system for the new production planning and order picking. All integrations of software in the production line can still be carried out. Consequently, our Bilam customers will be able to profit from the extended order picking options as of February 2022
